Spiritual eyes.

The simple truth of the matter regarding same-sex marriages is this; God's love is real. God is Spirit and by His Spirit all things can become new, even our definition of marriage, even our understanding and appreciation of love within same-sex marriages. Once baptized into Christ, we're all part of the Bride of Christ. Doesn't mean we're all Lesbians. Does mean it's a Spiritual renewal of our minds and hearts towards meaningful missions and services of love.

(Romans 12:2)
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

(Galatians 3:24-28)
Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
But after faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
For ye are all children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ, have put on Christ.
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free,
there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

We are one in the Spirit; we are one in the Lord!

Have the common sense to know when and where to teach these things, Blanket and simplistic statements as well as fundamental, basic doctrine have their purpose with and for children, but often fall short of an adult understanding necessary for deeper spiritual issues. Do not simply try to justify your own stance within your own divisional dogma and doctrine. Even divisional cliques have the responsibility and duty to come to full growth.

Full growth doesn't mean we have to hack things down again like Daniel 4:7-13,
"I saw a tree
in the middle of the world;
it was very tall.
The tree grew taller and stronger,
until its top reached the sky
and it could be seen from the very ends of the earth.
It's foliage was beautiful, it's fruit abundant,
in it was food for all.
For the wild animals it provided shade,
the birds of heaven nested in its branches
all living creatures found their food on it.
Next, a Watchful One, a holy one, came down from heaven.
At the top of his voice he shouted:
Cut the tree down, lop off its branches
strip off its leaves, throw away its fruit;
let the animals flee from its shelter
and the birds from its branches.
But leave the stump with its root in the ground,
bound with hoops of iron and bronze,
in the grass of the countryside.
Let it be drenched by the dew of heaven
and have its lot with the animals, eating grass!
