HISTORY.

1.11.43: formed as a result of the "Armed Forces Organization Law" of 28.10.1943 with organization and instruction duties.
11.43-23.8.44: with its subordinated units in Bucharest - Târgoviste area.
24.8.44: it participated to the fights against the German forces in Buftea, Mogosoaia areas with Detasamentul Motomecanizat 'general Niculescu'.
25.8.44: reorganized, now it attacked with all subordinated units against German troops at Otopeni airfield.
28.8.44: renamed as Corp Motomecanizat.
28-30.8.44: it cleared the Prahova valley.
5-8.9.44: it participated to the deffensive battle in Transylvania, pushing the Germans over the Mures and establishing bridgeheads on the river at Bogata and Iernut. Losses in Transylvania: 286 + 175 + 9448.
11.44: dissolved as part of the 26.10.1944 additional clause of the 12.9.44 Armistice with the USSR: it was merged with The Motomechanised Troops General Inspectorate.
