Historical:

• 1.4.44: formed from squadrons that were previously been held back in Romania or operated over the Black Sea, due to the arrival of the Red Army on Romanian soil. It was deployed in the zone Ianca, Ţăndărei, Feteşti, Urziceni, Buzău.
• 25.4.44: it begun the operations, following Ordinul 1 / 24.4.1944 (of the Comandamentul Forţelor Aeriene):
  • on the seaside: with Comandamentul Aero Marină;
  • on the Moldavian front: with Grupurile 1, 2, 4 Bombardament;
  • covering the area Ianca, Ţăndărei, Pogoanele: with Grup 4 Vânătoare
• 18.8.44: it was redesignated Corpul 3 Aerian.
