Historical:

• Missions: everything related to the instruction and to the preparation for war of the aviation, aerostation and aeronautical engineers units.
• 3.6.42: it changed its name to Comandamentul Forţelor Aeriene de Luptă.
• 10.43: disbanded by the Military Forces Organisation Law (its duties passed to the Air Corps and to the Statul Major al Aerului).
• 13.2.44: re-established.
• 18.8.44: disbanded again (Decizia ministerială 922 / 6.7.1944).
• 15.12.44: re-established as Comandamentul Aviaţiei (only with missions of technical prepration, guiding and control of the formations' instruction).
• 15.4.45: disbanded.
