Cycle 8
As Sam left, the teams all stared at at Josh B. and Travis. The 7 couldn't believe that Travis or Josh B. got voted off because of how many times they've been in the Dangerzone. Nick went to the confessional room, "Red has got to go, and so does purple."
It suddenly became apparent to Travis that he probably wasn't wanted around anymore, but he didn't know how to get out. Suddenly, a chance came to him, and the rest of the players. They could leave the game now, and get 3 jury votes at the end of the games, a future spot in a game, and $50,000 in cash. Everyone knew that it was probably wise to drop out now, but it was so close. Josh B. talked to Travis about leaving. Travis grabbed a sleeping bag, and went to the purple room. They knew it was now or never, but who would decide to go. Josh B. didn't like the idea of leaving, but if no one else went, he would go. Travis sat deep in thought about whether or not to leave. The next day, he decided, "As I am in the Dangerzone near the bottom.... okay... the bottom! lol! I would like to offer myself as a sacrifice so that I can at least have those perks mentioned. I feel that my time is about to come as it is..... so please sacrifice me! lol! Take me to the volcano and toss me in! Bring Sam back in my place please if possible. If he is unable to to return try C.J."
Sam was asked to return and he did. Though, he was not a member of the purple team anymore. He was transfered to red. Sam was happy to be back in the game, and was happy that he wasn't with Josh B. Though Katie, happy that she got a new team member, said, "Travis is a total freak! At least, we don't have to drag him around anymore, jeeze."
The contestents had a party that night, and drinks were served around. Obviously, non-alcholic. Katie and Adam though were in deep thought about Sam. They hoped that they could trust him. Besides, they thought, Sam was voted out by Josh B., he wouldn't still be teamed up with him, would he? After a wild night of partying, everyone drifted off to sleep.
As a hopeful gesture, Sam cooked breakfast. Everyone woke up to the smell of bacon and eggs. After everyone eat, they all walked outside to the next challenge. They were told that they would receive 5 arrows to shoot at targets of each of the contestents. If they hit the target, they received 10 points, and the targeted contestent lost 10 points. Though if someone missed the target, the targeted person would receive 10 points.
Josh went first and hit Nick with 1 arrow, Sean, Josh B., and Sean with 2 arrows. He nailed all of his targets with great accuracy. Katie fired 2 arrows at Josh, and Nick with 3, but she missed 2. Adam shot next with 3 aimed at Josh, missing twice, and aiming at Annie with 2, and missing once.
With great accuracy, Annie nailed Adam with 2, Katie with 1, and Sean with 2. Nick did horrible with missing Katie with 2 arrows, and missing Adam with 1 arrow. Though he hit Josh, and Annie. Robb also did bad. He shot 2 at Nick, both missing, and Sam with 3, one missed. Sam went next. He shot 3 at Nick, which 2 of them missed, and 2 at Robb, which all hit. Sean, oddly enough, aimed his 5 arrows all at Nick striking the middle each time.
Josh was hit by 3, but 3 missed him. Nick was hit with 8, but 6 missed. Sam was aimed at by 4, but only 1 missed. Josh B. got nailed by 1. Katie was nailed by 1, but 2 shots missed. Adam had 2 shots nailed in his target, but 1 missed. Annie had 2 shots, and 1 missed. Robb was hit by 2. Sean was hit by 3.
The scores were:
Josh 50 points
Annie 40 points
Katie 40 points
Sean 20 points
Adam 10 points
Robb 0 points
Nick 0 points
Sam 0 points
Josh B. -10
The rankings were sort of a shock to some, but to others, they were regular, and expected:
Safe Zone
Josh 118
Katie 110
Annie 93
Adam 80
Sean 72
Caution Zone
Nick 60
Dangerzone
Robb 27
Sam 6 (red team now)
Josh B. 3
Sam and Josh B. weren't surprised they were in the Dangerzone but Robb was. Sam hoped that Josh B. would vote for Robb because he used to be on Purple. Though Josh B. had other plans. Adam, and Katie discussed with Sam on who he should vote out. They decided on Josh B. because he seemed to be a threat. Robb was wondering what to do. He was pacing the blue team living room. The next day, Robb, Sam, and Josh B. packed their bags. Katie made a farewell breakfast. Josh B. went into vote first, "I vote for Sam."
I vote for Josh B. because I know Robb
I woud like to vote for josh b
With 2 votes Josh B., and 1 vote Sam, Josh B. has been evicted from the Dangerzone. Josh B. knew it was his time to leave, but before he left, he shouted, "Get rid of the traitor!" After saying that, he quickly went to the confessional room and said, "my strategy of staying toward the bottom didn't work."
Up Next:
Will Sam be ok on the Red team?
What is the situation with Sean and Nick?
Since Travis, and Josh B. are gone, will anyone stay in the Dangerzone repeatedly?
The caution zone gets abolished, making a bigger safe zone, but it becomes ever harder to stay out of the danger zone.
