Cycle 3
The contestans awoke the next morning to a Bob-less abode. They had almost been their a week and still had not gotten into a big routine yet. Nick from the orange team suggested that they do something special to wake everybody up in the morning. Adam suggested they do some sort of exercising and Sam suggested that they sing a song together. They all did stretches, but Katie and Annie took an abnormally long bathroom break during the song session. Everyone thought they were hiding on purpose. About mid-morning the intercom came on telling all 4 teams to report to the team bedrooms. There they were informed of the challenge to have each player pick 3 numbers and that each number that was unique and lower than the median number would earn the team 5 points. After a few minutes of discussion, numbers were picked and they congregated in the lounge as results were read. The median number was 25.5, and 10 different numbers were under 25.5 and were unique (2, 6, 7, 12, 14, 15, 16, 19, 23, 24). Nick smiled as he had picked #12 and Sean had picked 12. However, the remaining 8 numbers were split evenly between Red and Blue. The Purple team didn't get any right. They walked dejectedly into the team bedroom realizing that they would have to do something or they would be blown out.
The next morning as the contestants got up, they found that the producers had provided them with a giant breakfast buffet commemerating their first week in the game. After rounds of delicious coffee, pastries, eggs, pancakes, doughnuts, cereal, and sausage. Shortly, after breakfast, the contestants were escorted one by one to the next challenge. They saw a door in front of them and 8 keys. Each key had different letters on it. They had to put a key in the door and unscramble the letters on the key to use as a password that was also on the door. They had to have the correct key and password in order for the door to open. Once they got the door open, they slid down a fire pole back into the house and their time was recorded. After everybody went, only 6 people were able to complete it. The answer was America. Katie did the challenge in the fastest time, followed by Adam, Nick, Sam, Travis V. and Josh. However, Sean, Robb, Eviana, Annie, Josh B., Maggie, Travis, and Kyle couldn't finish in 5 minutes. The contestants milled about the house nervously for about an hour until the scoring ranks were posted. They were as follows:
SAFE ZONE:
1. Adam 103
2. Katie 93
3. Sean 87
4. Robb 76
5. Nick 75
Caution Zone
6. Eviana 57
7. Sam 55
8. Annie 50
9. Josh 46
Dangerzone
10. Josh B. 27
11. Maggie 25
12. Travis V. 15
13. Travis 8
14. Kyle -3
As soon as the results were read, Maggie, Josh B., and Kyle hi-fived as they knew that purple controlled the vote, but there might be some trickery going on with them. Maggie and Josh B. conversed late into the night about who they should vote out, and Travis, from red, came along to talk to them. All 3 of them agreed to vote out someone. Katie and Adam, now friends (gasp), knew that Travis had a likely chance of getting voted out. They both tried to convince the purple team to vote for the other Travis. The rather close orange team was ecstatic as they knew they were all safe.
Sam was disspointed that his 3 teammates were in the Danger Zone. The next morning, food was cooked, and the contestents in the dangerzone packed their bags. Maggie decided to go first: I vote for Kyle because he hasn't done much for the team at all...(neither has the other guy, but Kyle has less points)
Kyle went up to vote but was feeling a little drowsy, so he thought it would be funny to hit his name
I vote for Kyle because he already has negative 3 and I am hoping some others will take that into consideration and vote him out as well.
I vote for Kyle
Travis once again wanted to vote someone else out, but he saw that everyting turned to be doubled. When he saw Kyle's name, he saw 2. So, by mistake, lunging for what he thought was Kyle, instead was his name.
With 4 votes Kyle, and 1 vote for Travis (he's voted himself 3 times in a row), Kyle is voted out of Dangerzone
Up Next:
Will Travis ever get out of the Dangerzone and stop voting for himself?
Will the Purple team keep it together or will they vote their own kind out again?
The top 5 is up for grabs, who will stay at the top?
