The freezing cold doors opened very slowly 30,000 feet above sea level in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. Inside are cozy living quarters, a living room for each team, a community room, a kitchen, and the voting room. These 16 people were in for an adventure of a lifetime. They were playing a game called Danger Zone 2: The Rocky Mountains, where they would compete in grueling challenges and if they didn't do well enough, they could be faced with the possibility of leaving the game. 15 people will be eliminated this, and whoever isn't, will be proudly crowned the winner of Danger Zone.
The first contestant who entered the community room was Josh, a 13 year old from Colorado. He was handed blue clothing and he was told to go to the living room that was the same color as his clothing. He quickly found the door and entered. Next came a freezing contestant named Adam, a 12 year old from the warm side of California. He was handed Red clothing and told to go to his living room that matched his clothing. Fresh out of the snow all the way from Kansas was Annie, a
14 year old. She was handed blue clothing and headed for her living room. A few minutes later, Nick skied in, a 15 year old from Pennsylvania. He was handed orange clothing, picked up his skis and headed into his living room. 10 minutes passed, and a figure sileohetted against the door said he was named Josh B., a 20 year old from the warm state of Florida. He was handed purple clothing. A few minutes after him came Katie, a 14 year old from the shivering state of Kansas. She was thrown Red clothing. Next came Sam, a 14 year old from Pennsylvania. He was handed purple clothing. Next came Sean, a 15 year old from New York. He was given orange clothing. After staggering in the snow a bit, a tired but hopeful Dangerzone contestant walked in named C.J., a 14 year old from Minnesota. He donned Red clothing. 45 minutes later, Robb, a 13 year old from Kansas, walked in. He recieved Blue clothing. 30 minutes after him came Bob, a 32 year old from Indiana. He was handed Orange clothing. An hour and a half passed before Maggie, a 14 year old from Kansas, showed up. She was handed Purple clothing. 30 seconds after her came Travis, an 18 year old from Ohio. He donned Blue clothing. People were getting a little impatient because it was taking Kyle, an 11 year old from Kansas, an hour to climb the mountain. He was given Purple clothing and walked slowly to his living room. Shortly after him came Travis V., a 24 year old from Ohio. He was given Red clothing. After another 30 minutes, a weary Ryan came up into the General room, but he soon collapsed because of the high altitude, and needed to be removed from the game, so a replacement was called in. Eviana, an 18 year old from Nova Scotia, Canada was flown in. She was handed Orange clothing.

About an hour after Eviana arrived, and the teams had gotten to know each other being confined to the room, a voice came on the intercom, it said, "Welcome, contestants. Now that you have gotten to know your team, it is time to see how well you can work together. Your first challenge is to create a flag, slogan, and a name for your team". More specific rules were read, and the teams were given 60 minutes to work.
Nick and the Orange team worked fast, and they turned in their flag after 15 minutes of putting it together. Nick was proud of his team, and was most notably the leader. Next came the Purple team. Sam and Maggie were trying to think of a name, and they decided on the flying llamas, but Josh B. wanted it to be something else. They stuck to the Flying Llamas, and turned in their flag next. Thirdly came the blue team. Robb and Annie were trying to think of something, and with 5 minutes left, they sewed up their flag to finish. At the buzzer, Red didn't think up of anything because Katie and Adam were arguing over the name of the Red team. They didn't see the time, and when the buzzer rang, they hung their heads in disgust. C.J. and Travis V. were too tired to help out plus some of the food Travis V. was given before the climb up the mountain made him sick. You may view the three teams flags by clicking here.
30 points were awarded to the orange team, 20 points to the purple team, and 10 points to the blue team. Since Red didn't complete the challenge, they got 0.
After the challenge, everyone came out of their living rooms to mingle with each other because the next challenge wouldn't be for another couple of hours. Nick and Adam were assigned cooking duty. Adam was complaining about his teammates and how they didn't help out. So Nick decided to make a little truce with him. Adam, being desperate, said yes to the truce. Nick was happy because he knew that if he and Adam were in the Dangerzone together, that he wouldn't be voted out. Adam and Nick served everyone and they all sat down to a scrumptious meal.
After the meal, everyone played a game, and then went to bed except for Eviana and Nick. They were forming an aliance in their team living room. They wanted to make sure that both of them lasted till the final 2. They soon went to bed at 3:00 a.m. When it was the morning, the host came on over the intercom, "Eat breakfast and then I will tell you your next challenge."
Everyone eat some breakfast and the challenge was to be a guess the word challenge. The host was thinking of an object. When they figured out the object, they had to run into the voting room and tell the intercom what it was. They had one hour to figure out what it was.
In just a couple minutes, Josh quickly burst into the voting room and excitedly yelled, "Puzzle!". He answered incorrectly. He left and returned to the blue room. About 30 seconds later, Sean figured out the answer and said Computer. Adam entered next, about 20 seconds after Sean and said the correct answer. After Adam, a long string of correct answers came from Robb, Eviana, Nick, Katie, and Sam. Bob, Maggie, Kyle, Josh B., Annie, Travis, Travis V., and C.J. were unable to come up with any answers at all. After the hour was up, the answer was read, and everyone gathered around the computer screen to see what rank they were in.

Nick was happy because his team was in the top 6, so they didn't send anyone to the danger zone. Sam and Maggie were happy that their team was in the caution zone and not the danger zone. Robb was unhappy that only he was in the safe zone or caution zone for his team. Adam, from red, almost felt the same way.
Everyone was exhausted. Josh, Annie, Travis, Travis V., C.J., and Katie were in deep thought about who they would vote for. C.J., was trying to make a few last minute attempts to become friends with his team and the other teams. He was trying to get on everyone's good side. Josh and Annie knew that they wanted to get rid of the opposing team as fast as they could, so they both conversed on who they would vote for. The next day, Josh, Annie, Travis, Travis V., C.J., and Katie packed their things because they weren't sure if they were the ones to go. Josh was the first to go to the voting booth. He voted out C.J. because he is in 16th place and has -10 points... It's nothing personal so best of wishes. *salutes*
