The two sketches below shows Site I elementary school viewed from zone 3. The Catholic church can be seen up the hill with the cross on top. There was a Protestant church in site I as well.

the next pictures were temporary shelters in zone 1 and 2. These zone stretched along the main road that led to Site 2. When I first arrived in Galang in 7/89, there was no buildings in these locations.
