name is Danay , and I am embarking on the genealogical journey
of my paternal surname, ESCANAVERINO and others. So far, it
has proven to be a wonderful experience, as I have met distant
relatives which I never knew existed.
I now communicate with a
cousin in Cuba, Jose, whose grandfather was my great-
grandfather's brother and a cousin in Argentina, Mariela. I
also correspond with an uncle I found in Las Palmas (Spain) who
knew my
great-grandfather! The man is an amazing well of
