| Welcome |
The Super DaWally Spinner - VirginiaHere is Wally with one of his many crappie he caught on his vacation to Virginia in October 2003. We were at Izac Lake, a 60 acre man made lake in Gordonsville, Va. We showed up and were giving fishing demos to the area locals. They made fun of our lure saying nothing from out of state would work. Wally said that we could not expose our lure until we were ready to fish, that the fish would just jump right out of the water. A few minutes later, Wally was setting up his folding chair with his rod and Super DaWally Spinner out about 16 inches off the water when a crappie jumped out of the water right onto the hook. The locals went quiet and next they wanted lures.

This is the crappie that just jumped right out of the water on the hook!!! Wally was the talk of the lake over that one. Can't get any better advertising than that. The weather was cool and sunny most of the six days we were there and the fishing was great! |
