On a more serious note: I'd be happy to work in any type of work involving writing and perhaps some design. I welcome the opportunity to integrate, expand and exercise all or most of my skills on any given project or job. I work best when I'm free to roam, explore, experiment, learn, apply my skills and innovate.

Autrement, je serais tr�s heureuse de travailler dans le domaine de la pub ou de la promotion - ou n'importe quel projet d'�criture, surtout o� j'aurais l'occasion de participer � la conception, la production ou la pr�sentation. R�gle g�n�rale, je cherche l'occasion d'apprendre et d'�voluer de fa�on continue, autant que d'exercer mes talents et mes aptitudes acquises. J'aime bien tout essayer. In journalism, most of my work has been for Le Voyageur, a francophone weekly, where I covered both national and provincial issues as well as local news. While there I won first placefor best feature. My editors there were Jacques DesBecquets and Andr� Girouard. I've also published articles in Southern Ontario in Le M�tropolitain and Le R�gional, in French: here is one on official languages and one about women in trades. In English, my articles have appeared in Toward Freedom and the North York Mirror as well as in CRN Canada, a computer magazine. I've also published "Honouring World Francophone Week" on the York University website.
Most of my creative writing has been published or produced in
French. My first novel, La Delphin�e, was published by Prise de parole. In 1998, I worked with the Great Canadian Theatre Company as one of ten playwrights on the bilingual 10 x 10 project of The Next Stage, coproduced with the National Arts Centre. The artistic director at the time was Micheline Chevrier and my monologue was titled �L'�veil de Sycorax�. Other projects, such as
my second novel, a collection of
songs in French about women in Canada and a collection of
short stories, have been funded by the
Ontario Arts Council (1997 and 1998).

Public relations is another field I enjoy. Professionally, I've written press releases for Prise de parole and created a press kit for Collin Rosati , surely the only hypnotist in Canada who is also an award-winning sax player. I've done volunteer promotional writing for the LEAF Sudbury Person's Day Breakfast in both English and French, as well as for Village International Sudbury and
La Galerie du Nouvel-Ontario. I've also worked as editor of Acc�s-m�dias, the newsletter of the F�d�ration des gens de la presse de l'Ontario. Later, I helped out at the Canadian Association of Journalists (CAJ) as the workshops coordinator for their 20th anniversary conference, Convergence '98 (contact person: Saul Chernos). Most recently, I have worked as volunteer editor of L'Oyez, the newsletter of the Club Richelieu Toronto. Here is an example.
My area of expertise is something that combines my interests in political economy, international trade, marketing and especially, cultural industries : As a topic for my final research paper, I chose to explore exports and marketing of French-language Quebec film in the 1980s in the context of global oligopolistic market structures.
Some of the background images on my pages were created directly in Photoshop by applying various filters and reducing the opacity, then converted to jpg format for uploading. Others were imported from MS Word Clip-Art and modified in Photoshop. The picture you see of me on the WhoAmI page was created in Photoshop by applying two consecutive filters: watercolour and difference clouds. Here is the original picture I used:

J'ai �t� �crivaine promotionnelle b�n�vole pour les causes et organismes suivants : le Petit d�jeuner de la personne de la FAEJ � Sudbury (anglais et
fran�ais); Village International Sudbury et La Galerie du Nouvel-Ontario. J'ai �galement �t� r�dactrice d'Acc�s-m�dias

Mon domaine de sp�cialisation m'a permis d'int�grer mes int�r�ts divers : �conomie politique, commerce international, marketing et surtout, les industries culturelles. Le sujet de ma recherche finale en ma�trise a �t� l'examen de l'exportation et du marketing des films qu�b�cois francophones dans les ann�es 80.
J'ai cr�� quelques-unes des images de fond sur mes pages � l'aide de Photoshop en me servant de filtres, en en r�duisant l'opacit� et en les convertissant au format jpg pour les importer ici. D'autres sont des images de MS Word que j'ai modifi�es � partir de Photoshop.
