You left us so quickly.
We never got to say good-bye.
The tears fall again softly as I start to cry.
So many If Only's, What If's, and Why's.
I want you back so badly,
This I can't deny.
Did I tell you "I Love You"?
Did you know how much you meant to me?
These thoughts haunt me daily,
They won't let me be.
I'll never forget you
That much I'm sure of.
My heart is filled with a lifetime of your love.
Although it's hard to move forward,
I know that I must.
So I send you this message with someone I trust.
God tell him I love him.
Let him know he's forever in my heart and mind.
A man like my husband is one of a kind.
Thoughts of him today still bring me out of a funk.
Father he always had faith in me.
I won't let him down.
Tell him to watch and see.
I'll do my best to make him proud.
I'm sure that he's watching from a cloud.
And lastly God, I ask on bended knee.
Give my husband a hug and say it's from me.
