Has Rick McCallum T.D.A'ed Star Wars? A DailySkew Investigative Report
Rick McCallum is the culprit behind the NSync cameo
In a shocking turn of events, TDA member Rick McCallum has signed NSync to do a cameo in the next Star Wars movie, while shifting the blame for this controversial move to George Lucas and his daughter. The truth was revealed on Launch.com, where Lucasfilm spokesperson Lynn Hale explained that Rick McCallum invited the boy band to do a cameo after he learned they were big Star Wars fans. George Lucas' daughter was not involved in the decision-making process. According to Antony di Carlo, author of "Hey, I'm not TDA!", Time Displacement Authority members thrive on altering timelines and changing realities -- simply to feel helpful and needed. "They're so clingy ... they butt in and change everything!" stated Mr. di Carlo from his offices in Charlotte, North Carolina. "Let's say," continued Antony, "you plan to go to lunch with a couple of friends. Most people observing your little group will say, 'Hey, I'm not invited, and that's okay. Let them have their privacy.' Not TDA! A TDA member will approach, completely unashamed, and ask, 'Hey, what are you guys doing for lunch?'"
Current TDA members
"Obviously, an uncomfortable situation occurs -- no one wants the TDA member to come. It's nothing personal, of course -- the friends just want to be alone! But everyone knows TDA will be offended ... so, lunch plans are TDA'ed [altered] because TDA has to be appeased." What does all this have to do with George Lucas? Mr. di Carlo explains, "George Lucas is being TDA'ed on a grand scale! His whole movie franchise is being TDA'ed! As a result, we the fans are being TDA'ed!
Have you been TDA'ed?
"Bad movie titles, Jar Jar Binks, aliens with offensive Japanese accents -- these are all ideas that started with Rick McCallum ... I can promise you that! "It's time for the fans to stop blaming George Lucas. All complaints and protests should be forwarded to Rick McCallum -- only then, when Rick feels the heat, will this project begin heading in the right direction!" As far as anyone can tell, there is no central governing authority for the TDA -- all agents act on their own, creating random timeline alterations, all for the sake of being needed by others.
