Sully and Green-eyed Monster Arrested in Nevada-girl Kidnapping
June 14 -- In more shocking news from Hollywood, the stars of "Monsters, Inc." were arrested by Nevada state police today, charged with kidnapping a four-year-old girl. The girl disappeared two weeks ago, and her case has drawn national attention due to her family's proximity to Las Vegas. "We're very disappointed," said a Nevada trooper. "My kids have watched [Monsters Inc.] six times ... now I got to explain to them that Sully's bad. Real bad." Attorneys from Disney are suggesting that the kidnapping is actually a giant misunderstanding. "Sully and Green-eye were filming 'Monsters, Inc II'," stated one of the attorneys outside the Nevada state court. "The child wandered through one of the portals in the middle of the night ... we were trying to return her quietly when the police intervened. "They're not kidnappers. We believe the evidence will prove this." The two stars are being held on $2,000,000 bail. No word on whether production will continue on the Monsters Inc. sequel. |
