TheEeEeEe Yankees Win!

Have you been paying attention to the Winter meetings this week? If you
haven't, well let me just fill you in: the YANKEES HAVE OFFICIALLY WON THE
WORLD SERIES.

It's over. Game, set and match. You might as well start planning your
summer sports viewing around golf, because baseball has already been decided
for 2002.

You can order your New York Yankees 2002 Championship video through me, The
Realtor, at [email protected]. Tell them you read this article and
you'll get a free Yankee pennant, signed by George Steinbrenner and Joe
Torre -- now THAT'S a rare item!

By the way, DailySkew, when do you plan on running my airline pitch? Now,
with the holidays in full swing, would be the perfect time to tell the real
truth about flying!

Thank you. Thank you very much.

The Gambler says ... avoid the NFC Least

Don't even try to pick on those games, folks. I don't mind taking your
money, but even I have a conscience every now and then!

And now, for some teams I DO like this week:

The Dolphins, for the first time since Bob Griese was quarterback and Larry
Czonka was running over linebackers, are for real. You can bank on it! And
they're going to prove it, Sunday, against the 49ers.

I'm still buyin' the Bucs ... even if you aren't. They like to win December
-- so I'll take them this week, over the Bears.

And, the game of the week: the Steelers are going to show Art Modell and his
Ravens why they're a pathetic organization. Nice way to treat a Superbowl
winning quarterback, Ravens -- don't resign him, and get a perennial "great
potential" guy whose prone to injury. Nice job, Ravens.

You always stick with the guy who wins, even if he looks ugly doing it. You
don't go trading clubhouse leaders for someone with better stats! That's
what the Ravens did, in essence, and that's why they're not repeating as
Superbowl champs.

Enjoy your winnings. I will!
