Soviet Ghosts, Round
Two:
"We got them!" proclaimed an Air Force bomber pilot after successfully annihilating a squad of dead Red Army soldiers. "They won't harm anybody anymore." Unfortunately, four Canadian soldiers were killed in the offensive; they were participating in a live-fire training session outside of Kandahar when the U.S. military detected and attacked the advancing Soviet ghost forces.
When asked about the four Canadians caught in the crossfire and killed, the pilot responded, "Hey, they're Canadians. What're you gonna do? They don't really count, anyways." "Who knows?" he continued, "Maybe they'll help us repel the rest of the commies -- now that they're dead."
In related ghost-war news -- rumors that Hamid Karzai has been possessed by the spirit of Yuri V. Andropov remain unconfirmed at this time. |
