Shakira vs. Nellie Furtado: whenever, wherever!

Please. This is not even a contest! Shakira blows the doors off Nellie Furtado, any day of the week, and twice on Thursdays! Let's compare, shall we? Shakira is a professional Latin singer, with years of performing experience. She knows what it takes to succeed, and is now applying her musical talents to the barren American market. Thank God! Nellie Furtado, on the other hand, can't even sing in tune! I heard her on Z-100 once doing a live rendition of "I'm like a bird", and she sounded awful! Plus, her new song, "Turn out the lights", is completely and utterly vapid! "After midnight, morning will come...."

Whatever.

Thanks for trying to be deep, Nellie -- maybe next time, steal from Edgar Allen Poe, or anyone else who had a clue about writing thought-provoking words! And don't even get me started on the "Get Your Freak On" remix, with Nellie's damn "beep beep" going on there. She is awful! And, the funny thing is, you get the feeling rap artists think she's brilliant! Well, after few years, hindsight will come. And, by the way, Shakira looks great! Thank you. Thank you very much!

In other news: The girl in "I'll Fly with you" is dead. Well, she's dead in the song ... not in real life. Get it? It's like a "Ghost" thing -- where the guy's alive, and the girl's a spirit from heaven ... kind of like those sickie songs from the late 1950's.
