Late-breaking News: Little Boy Lost at Alexander's

Will the space-time continuum remain intact?

June 11, 1979 -- A heart wrenching episode ended joyously today as a little boy was found and returned to his parents after being lost in the aisles of Alexander's.

Tony DeCarvalho, who just turned five, was shopping with his parents at the Alexander's store on Queens Blvd at 5:00 P.M. He was in the cosmetics aisle when terror struck -- his parents were gone.

"I saw the little boy, running up and down each aisle," said a store clerk, "breathing heavy, really panicking. He kept saying 'mom?' over and over."

Finally, after a twenty minute search, little Tony found his mom, who was looking at blouses.

"The boy yelled at his mom," the store clerk added, "but she just kept on shopping."

"I heard the parents weren't worried about their son," said a close family member. "They were confident Tony would find them. They really have a lot of faith in the boy."

"Thank goodness Tony found his parents!" said Vance Astro, from the 23rd century. "Our records indicate he has a lot to accomplish ... it would be a pity if he had disappeared at such an early age."

Thank goodness he found his parents.
