Radio Station Announces "Today is Judgment Day!"
M.O.T. News
November 26th -- A radio promotion on a local FM station had Pentecostal
Christians pulling off the road and looking to the sky.
The promo appeared on 93.1 in South Florida, announcing that "Today is
Judgment Day" and free tickets to see DJ Judge were available to the ninth
caller.
"First thing I did was stop at a gas station and call my friend Larry," said
Jay Santini, member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Coral Gables. "I let
him know what I heard ... he thought I was crazy, but then later he called
back and said he had heard and believed."
Mr. Santini sat at the gas station until sundown -- eight hours total --
trying to win free tickets.
"I'm still not sure why Jesus is holding a concert before judging us, but
whatever. I'll be there, whether I win free tickets or have to buy them."
Christian Wright, fundamentalist preacher, had this to say when asked about
the promo: "You have GOT to be kidding. Are these people fools? Did they
really think Jesus would announce on the radio that it's Judgment Day? Come
on!"

Is this how Jesus will announce his return?
"I mean really! Jesus said he would return in the sky ... I take that to
mean literally. I don't think God is going to buy commercial airtime on
every radio station in the world to announce the rapture. God is not
limited by technology. One day you're going to look up and see Jesus, and
then we'll see who's laughing then."
There is apparently no truth to the rumor that Jesus will rap the beatitudes
during the concert.
