This Website is an Absolute Farce

I recently heard a rumor that our website, www.dailyskew.com, may be the subject of scrutiny on a well-known nightly news magazine show. As a matter of fact, I heard we may be requested to appear on the show. I would like to take this time to officially turn that request down, and explain why I put up with this lousy site.

You see, Mr. News Person, the bottom line is that the DailySkew has a lot of fans. I wanted to be part of that. Tony and Damian needed someone to run the Daily Balance, and I was available. So that was that.

Sure, I don't get paid. This is a no-profit site, after all. This is all about capturing dreams of sailing ships and sticking them in bottles -- not an easy business, I can assure you.

I'll be honest: I hate the DailySkew. That's why I'm proud to be part of the Daily Balance.

You see, I get to counter-act all the negative, insane, unpatriotic, blue, disgusting, immoral, and incredibly crass material that gets published on THE OTHER SIDE of this website.

The Daily Balance is about ... balance. We tame this crazy, skewed monster with honest, objective editorials and phony articles.

Yes, the articles continue to be phony on our end of the site. We still can't afford real reporters.

The bottom line, in case you didn't read it the first time, is that the page gets lots of hits, okay? So I make no apologies, Mr. News-Person-Whoever-You-Are, about working for this site. I'm proud of my allegiance to the DailySkew, and I'm glad I can bring it into balance.
