DailySkew Refuses Contributions
June 18 -- In a move that surprised many industry experts, the DailySkew has decided to stop accepting contributions from it's fans. "It was a tough decision," said Tony DeCarvalho, co-owner of the DailySkew, "but it had to be done. We have grown tired of living off the largess of our small and demographically-skewed viewership. "Quite frankly, we're embarrassed about all the money we made. We can only hope the fans will forgive us." Industry experts celebrated the move, citing that no website had benefited from photography copyright infringement like the DailySkew. "Thank God we don't have to bring the lawyers in anymore," stated an executive from Disney. "We're glad they've gone non-profit." Arturo Sundvold, Editor-in-chief of the Daily Balance portion of the website, added, "We're glad to continue bringing what people have come to expect from the DailySkew for free. Now we can all sleep at night, and have clear consciences." Damian Hospital, co-owner of the DailySkew, was in the Bahamas today and unavailable for comment.
