We oppose the use of public revenues for abortion and call for elimination of government funding for organizations, which advocate or support abortion. We reaffirm our support for appointments of judges who respect traditional family values and the sanctity of human life. We believe that governmental policies, judicial decisions and statutes that permit, promote or fund services, such as counseling, contraception or abortion, to minor children, without prior parental knowledge and informed consent, to be an obviation of parental rights and responsibilities, and should therefore be opposed. ...we call for the addition to the Oregon Constitution Bill of Rights and to amend by the initiative process and enact by the people the following 32 words: We believe the rights, privileges, and immunities reserved to the people by the U.S. Constitution and by the states and common law of the State of Oregon shall be vested in natural persons at conception.
