40th Year Reunion Communications

October 4, 2000 - From Virginia A. WALTEMYER Korts: Happy I found this website. Apparently lost touch when we moved in May of 1994. I never received information about the 35th reunion because the postal service was no longer forwarding mail from our old address by that time. I have always enjoyed keeping track of everyone in the class even though it has never worked out that I could get home for the reunion. Perhaps now that we are both retired I will be able to make it to one of the class reunions although it is too late to make plans to come to this years. Nevertheless if it is still possible to get one of the class books please let me know where to send a check and I will send it right away. Thank you for this website. (NOTE: An email reply was sent to Virginia.)
September 1, 2000 - From Sandy L. ALWINE Kinnamon: The web site is wonderful. It looks very professional and all the links work. I was very impressed, since I am having problems with my web site. I guess someday I'll get it figured out. By the way, how did you know my e-mail address? I am sending the cover today. It could be printed with color on the computer, could be put in colored acetate or copied on colored paper. I have enclosed a word doc. if you decide to print on your printer. I really don't care. Any questions, you can e-mail me. Also enclosed will be my class info for the booklet and $4.00 for a booklet. Like I said, I doubt if I make it to the reunion unless my husband improves greatly between then and now.
August 9, 2000 - From Diane J. FERREE Strobeck: Please put my e-mail address on file. I received a email from you, but can not see my address in the directory. It is [email protected]. Thanks for all the work that has been done to keep our class current. Sorry that Joe and I will be out of town at the time of the DAHS Class of 1960 40th Year Reunion, we have a new grandson living in Florida and we will be visiting them. Hope to see everyone at the next reunion.
July 30, 2000 - From Dorothy M. COX Wynn: Sandra Monroe is deceased......Angel Spyker is deceased......Sandy Seaks works at DeVono's Drycleaning in Dallastown......Beverly Krouse's sister is married to Sandy Monroe's brother.
July 28, 2000 - From Samuel Douglas EVELER: The Reunion Committee does a great job.... I can't remember what day it is, let alone where all these people got to.... Continuing my "nerd" reputation well into the 2K millennium I find the Internet very useful. It lets me answer mail etc. at 2am (which turns out to be the only time I have free anymore). I think it's a good idea although I know it's a lot of work for someone to do. (I keep thinking back to how my dad demanded that I take typing back at DAHS. I was the only Senior in the 9th grade business class, and there were only two guys. Embarrassing as hell....but....he was right. I use the typing skills every day. Thanks to Rafe Nabors and the 9th grade girls.) See you soon.... Doug
July 15, 2000 - From Gary L. GEESEY: Doris GLATFELTER Ford's current mailing address is 2411 Arlington Street - York, PA 17403. I can't attend the reunion because I am having knee replacement 2 days before.
June 27, 2000 - From Virginia S. STERNBERG Lecrone: Many thanks to the Reunion Committee for organizing the upcoming events and information booklets. Your efforts are greatly appreciated. See you October 14!

40th Year Reunion Feedback Form Comments

Comments, complaints, etc. about the time of year the 40th Year Reunion Weekend was Held?
*Did you order that spectacular weather AND the full moon??? It was perfect. See if you can do as well for the 60th Birthday Party and the 45th Year Reunion!!!!
Comments, complaints, etc. about the communications to the Class Members concerning the 40th Year Reunion?
*I can only speak for myself, but it seems to me it came in plenty of time to make arrangements, but maybe the response date was a little too far ahead of time to have to make the payment without chance of refund.
Comments, complaints, etc. about the 40th Year Reunion DAHS Tour?
*My husband and I really enjoyed the tour. Would certainly like to see the finished project on the 45th Year Reunion.
Comments, complaints, etc. about the 40th Year Reunion Informal Get Together Friday night?
*It was nice, but did get a little late because of the after game show and the distance from Dallastown. It was a little harder to socialize there I thought, because everybody was sitting at their table when we came in later from the game and it felt a little awkward somehow. Not really a complaint.
Comments, complaints, etc. about the 40th Year Reunion Saturday night?
*I enjoyed it very much except for the attitude of the photographer, but he had nothing to do with our class. At first I was wondering why there was no DJ or music, but was grateful to be able to talk and hear without difficulty. Good idea.
Other comments, complaints, etc. for the Reunion Committee?
*Just was thinking or wondering if somehow more stories or memories of our high school days could somehow be incorporated as a whole group rather than just the individual or small group...sort of walk down memory lane of our classes, our teachers, our class trips, our feelings, our frustrations, etc...
