-----Dallas County Care Facility, Inc. is a therapeutic community for those with mental illness or other developmental disabilities. We are a non-profit facility which provides environmental support, vocational opportunities, medical supervision, and recreational and continuing educational opportunities which include transportation. Our purpose is to rehabilitate and maintain individuals at their highest possible level of function and independence.
This is a 94 bed, two story residential
care facility licensed by the Iowa Department of Inspections
and Appeals. It is a private and non-profit facility
governed by a board of directors. It is situated three miles
north of Adel, Iowa on Highway 169. It is approximately 20
miles west of Des Moines.
