76 Abraham NEILL, b. 26 Sep 1753, Frederick Co., VA, s/o Lewis and Lydia (HOLLINGSWORTH) NEILL, d. bef. 4 Nov 1829, Frederick Co., VA, m. (77) Rachel WOODROW, d. bef. 5 Jan 1846 (no further information). She may have been the d/o Andrew WOODROW of Frederick Co., VA, but have not been able to find the proof. Abraham NEILL a farmer and plantation owner added largely to his inherited estate, south of Winchester. He was left a large tract of land by his father. He bought land from his brother John, and purchased a tract of land in Berkeley Co. from Thomas Hart, a house and lot in Winchester, and other lands. The tract of land described as being in Berkeley was probably the land at Duffields, now in Jefferson Co., WV, that he gave to his son Lewis NEILL as a gift WILL (FH8). Children:

76.5 Joseph NEILL, inherited the larger part of his father's estate, and died during the Civil War. He left estates at Newtown and Winchester. He probably never married. His will written 22 Feb 1858, and probated 2 Nov 1863, in Loudoun Co., VA, named Lewis NEILL, Samuel NEILL, George W. NEILL s/o Lewis and Corbina (BAKER) NEILL (see #38), Elizabeth 'Pinkey' NEILL, Lydia Magdalena NEILL d/o Lewis and Corbina, who m. H. M. WALTON (see #18), and Sarah NEILL (d/o Lewis and Corbina)  m. a MCCORMICK, had dau. Betsy MCCORMICK.(FH8 p189, LE66).
