Lewis received the land he owned at Duffields, Jefferson Co., from his father Abraham Neill, who resided in Frederick Co., VA. The list of children came from a parchment of paper the compiler's grandfather, R. W. MORROW of Shepherdstown, WV, gave him in the early 1960s. At his death, his will devised that the entire estate was to be left jointly to his wife and son Lewis, to be used for the benefit of the whole family, and upon his wife's death, all property was to be equally divided  among his children.
