| Nov 17, 2003: Wow!! Has it really been this long since I wrote last??? Where did the time go?? It has been a crazy couple of weeks...I think!! For some reason I can't remember what I did, besides work?? ummm....this weekend we just had was terrible...I don't think anything worse could of happened...well maybe, but I am not going to jinx myself...Why you ask was the weekend so terrible?? I went into work on Sat. at Caffe Amantes and got FIRED....WHAT THE HELL DID I DO??? Their lame ass excuse was ....(breathe) We have had this couple come in regularly for as long as I can remember. The come every few months out to stay from St.Albert, AB. When when they come out they always buy lots of coffee...so a long time ago...can't even remember when...we started a frequent coffee bag card for them...and now all the sudden I am getting fired for this...duh what??? it wasn't me that started it...it was the former manager....so i get fired for it cuz i stamped their card....("it has been brought to our attention you have been giving away free bags of coffee?) I never gave anything away....i stamped their card just as I have been doing for I don't know how long....well whatever...I wanted out of there, but I was going to wait until after christmas...grrr...damn it...i had everything figured out...piss me off!!!!! now I only make about $500 a month if I am lucky....at least I have this second job...blah...So this was Sat. morning...(I was pissed off all day...well I still am actually), so Sat. nite I got drunk...went to Sharon's first and had a few to make me feel VERY happy, then Darrin bought me a 4pk of Strongbow cider...yummmm....we watched tv, played scrabble...then I passed out...however, I slept only until 530am...grrr...I had too much on my mind...(like, How am I getting home for christmas now...and once I am home how am I paying for christmas) Darrin woke up, but fell asleep on the couch beside me...then he got up and went to his friends house to watch football...I stayed at home to try and sleep...but then the phone rang...Darrin's Grampa is in the hospital and wont be coming home...(sniff sniff) So we tried to go up to Campbell River on Sunday nite to see him, we had everything ready to go, get out to the car and what happens....the F@#*ing car wont start...damn it...so this morning at 830am Darrin's Dad came and picked him up and Darrin was going to stay over nite (I was going to meet him up there) but there was no one to cover his shift at work...WHAT!! a company that size can't find anyone to drive his truck to Victoria and back tonite so he can be with his dying grampa...what a joke....!!! so that is my weekend in a nut shell...the shortened, less cursing version of it...lol...so now i have to rebudget my next month...damn it...with the few measly dollars I have....(if anyone has any money to lend/give me or airmiles I would love them forever....plz let me know) yeah right!!... well I signing off for now...I am still trying to put the Halloween pics together...so just hold on...lol...see ya |
