Jan 9, 2005: A new year has started, and well it started off better than last, which I hope is a good thing. I went with Rob to Edmonton on New Year's eve (I didn't want to sit alone with my thumb up my ass to ring in the new year). We went for dinner the the Old Spaghetti Factory (please don't bring up the memorys from Christie's Bday there so many years ago...the hair incident...yuck!!) Anyways this dinner was great, no hair in food. Then we "sat" in his bus before we left (wink wink) and then came back to Calgary 15mins before midnite. We were just about to leave to come home, when everyone started honking their horns on the buses. At first we were wondering what the hell was going on, then it clicked, oh ya it is midnite. hahaha. So we went home and went to bed....so exciting huh...but at least I wasn't suffering from a hangover. So now we are going into the 2nd week of 2005. And life is pretty normal. Rob and I are in the process of rearranging his apartment and trying to get it looking good so we can find a roommate. Cuz his "friend" Mike is leaving him high and dry, he was to find a replacement, but after talking to 2 people he gave up. So Rob is going to be tight for money. But soon I can move in officially and help out with rent, as for now, I will help where I can. I am locked in a lease with my sis until the end of March. So I watched a wicked movie last nite. Battlestar Galactica. It is a remake of the old series. The new series starts next week, but this was the movie premier. Just found out it is on DVD so I am gonna go buy it today. With me being a scifi freak, of course I liked it. But I found the acting surprisingly good, with leaving a good twist at the end. Now I can't wait for series to start, since I was swearing at the tv in the end. I am reading a new book from Marion Zimmer Bradley, yes I know she died years ago, but their are people working on getting her books finished that she started before she passed on. It is called Ansestors of Avalon. It is part of her Avalon series, but it tells of how Avalon was started and where those people came from. She uses the theroy of Atlantis so write the story. I am only 3 chapters in, but loving it of course. Well anyways enough for today, I have more to write, but I am hungry. Ciao
