Legend: Chap. 3
Silvanus looked at the other two. He hoped they would understand it was an accident. I I didnt mean to
Rosa looked at him, and slowly nodded. Thats the thing she didnt like about sparring. Someone always got hurt. I I know. She looked back to the person on the floor He only lived 16 years of his life. He still had so much to experience. The thrill of life, fame love
.Grrrr Singe suddenly sat up. The other 3 jumped as he did. What had just happened?! He got stabbed! How was he still alive?
Rosa stuttered. Bu-but how? She looked on in amazement. Laine was too shocked to say anything, same as Silvanus.
He glared at them, then settled down again. The blood was slowing down. He stood up slowly, though you could see he was in pain. I I wont let myself die until I am the best at fighting Then I will let myself die Singe was always a rather freaky person, but this topped it all. What was he?
Rosa ran to the back of the cave and grabbed some bandages. Laine took them from her, looking at Singe.
Youre bleeding. Let me wrap the wound up.
Singe nodded, not wanting anyones help, though he knew she wouldnt take no for an answer. He let her wrap the cool gauze around him.

Another girl made her way down the docks, looking out to the ocean. It was the perfect day for it. Bright and sunny. She let her brown hair flow in the wind. She sighed contently and sit down on the wood, looking down at the tranquil water below. She liked getting away from it all. Her dark clothes absorbed the sun making it hotter than it was, but the wind cooled her. She enjoyed being away from everybody, especially the idiots who went to her school. Only some were nice. She looked around. She liked being alone, but the only thing about it is that is was boring! She stood up after a few minutes in the view of the ocean, walking back to the quiet little town. But as she heard some noises voices. She followed the noise, curious. She found a small opening in the rocks. She peered in and saw a few people. They were all from school. She wondered if she should say hello.

Laine had finished with the wrapping finally. The blood seemed to slow down. The bandage should hold. She stepped back. Im glad youre ok.
Singe shifted uncomfortably. The bandages were kind of itchy, but he would need them. They were for his own good. He moved his arms back and forth, trying to adjust it. As he did, he saw someone spying inside. He watched the person carefully, and saw the shadow dart back behind the edge of rocks. He ran out there, leaving the other 3 to wonder what he was doing. He turned the corner and looked The figure was gone, vanished somewhere.  He looked around for a minute. That wasnt his imagination. As he turned, his ears picked up a sound so familiar, a sound he had heard many times before. A sword being unsheathed from its scabbard.
He could feel the presence of someone coming down at him. He turned back around and looked up, seeing a female coming down at him with a familiar looking sword. A katana. Before he was chopped in half, he had barely managed to move, bring his shoe down on the blade as it neared the ground, turning it sideways as he stepped on it. He pushed down at just the right angle, preventing the attacker from getting it out.
Who the hell are you?! Singe demanded. He was not too keen on people attacking him for no reason.
The girl looked at him with obvious distaste. You came out to attack me, right? For looking in on your little hideout?
Singe shook his head. No, but I did want to see who was looking in. I ran because you did.
The girl looked down. I am sorry. But its usually what people do. Ive had to defend myself, and I thought you were another one.
He let his foot go off her sword. He turned away, and started to walk back, but then turned and looked at her. She was just like him. She didnt like people. Would you like to join me? he asked her, already expecting a no.
She looked at him. He didnt seem like a bad person, but neither did other people, until they turned on her. But he seemed different. Sure Why not? She still eyed him with distrust.
He nodded to her and walked back to the cave, letting her follow behind. He walked back into the cave, in the middle of a conversation. As he walked in, they became quiet and looked at him. He silently wondered what they were talking about, but decided to let it go. The 3 eyed the other person who walked in.
Who might you be? Laine inquired. She looked awfully familiar.
The quiet girl had put away her sword. She looked at Laine. She sat behind her in magic class, though Laine probably had never bothered to even look at her. My name is Suvi. I go to your school.
Silvanus eyed her. Another human Yes, Ive seen you before, but youre always hiding away. Almost nobody knows who you are.
Suvi quietly gazed at him. An elf. She had not heard much about them, but she respected their ability to use magic so easily. She put one hand in a fist, the other hand wrapping around it, and bowed slightly, to all but Singe. Yes, as are you. But people know who you are. Your sister as well.
Singe looked over the small group. Well, look. I got to get home. I still have to finish a few things. Maybe Ill see you tomorrow. He turned and walked off, not even waiting for the others to wave.
Suvi watched him leave. Whats with him? He acts like me.
Yeah, well hes always like that, Rosa responded. In his mind, no one likes him. He doesnt realize how many people do.
Kinda like me, except people dont, Suvi shot back.
How would you know?
I just do. Its a feeling you wouldnt know about.
Silvanus stood. You think elves are happy, flower pickers? No, we arent. We have to deal with entire kingdoms trying to destroy our homes. Me and Rosa are here because we lost that battle
Suvi nodded. Im sorry. I-I should be going now. She turned to walk out.
Laine called out. No, wait. Stay. Please. Itll get boring with only us three. Why dont you tell us about yourself?
Suvi sat down at the table, reluctant. Oh well They all seemed rather nice. Maybe she would have some friends for once.
