Legend: Chap. 2
Singes  sword reflected what little sunlight came into the small cave. He stared at Silv for a long time, trying to figure out what he was going to do. He then got an idea. He held his sword in a way where the sunlight that was reflecting off his sword got closer to his eyes closer closer
Hey, guys! You didnt even wait for me, an out of breath girl screamed as she ran into the small cave. Her brown hair bounced off her shoulders as she leaned against the rocky wall.  She was wearing the usual magicians outfit. Red tank top, black skirt, with a cape. She had gloves over her hands, though she didnt have her staff with her. A dagger however, was seen attached to her boot. You guys are mean! She crossed her arms and looked away. She wasnt spoiled, she just thought it was fun to act like that. She only did that with her friends.
Oh, sorry Laine! I just kinda got caught up trying to get Singe. Rosa smiled innocently.
Alright. She grinned.  Ill forgive you this time. She sat down by Rosa. Hope I didnt get here too late.
Rosa shook her head. Nope, got here just in time.
Singe remained quiet through the whole thing. When Laine finally settled down, he turned to Silvanus again. Ready now?
He nodded, a slight smile spreading over his lips. You bet. He twirled his swords and awaited his move. Singe was well known for his skill with his sword, but so was he.
Singe dashed forward, thrusting his sword, but it was easily parried with Silvs blade. He swung his other sword, seeing the opening. Singes foot came up and came back down on the top of his blade, pinning it to the ground. He grinned at his two bladed foe. Silvanus grinned right back, his swords flowing with a strange power now. He glowed a slight yellow, indicating they were filled with a holy power. Singe jumped back from his, examining him.
Well, well. Using your holy saber already? Well, I guess Ill use mine too Those holy sabers would have increased in power dramatically. Singe glowed red, and fused the spirit of fire into his katana. He now dashed at his foe, the sounds of clashing swords echoing through the small cave. The aura of fire and the glow of holy power shining through the cave. Singe countered every swing Silv dished out, but he couldnt hit him either. This was just a sword fight. If magic were involved, other than sabers, Singe would have won. He had massive fire powers. He had seen Silvanuss magic. It consisted of draining a persons magic, and changing body forms. Singe had spent many years developing a resistance to these kind of spells.
You are quite impressive, Singe. No ones ever held up this long with a single blade.
Then you have sucky competition. Singe grinned. However, he was distracted for a moment, which Silvanus took advantage of this and put his sword against Singes body, however he had gone too far. They were only meant to press it against the persons skin, not thrust it inside them. Thats exactly what happened. The short sword pushed through his body a good 6 inches.
Wha Singes eyes opened wide as the cold steel pierced his body.
No! Silvanus pulled it out quickly, setting the swords aside. Rosa and Laine dashed over to Singe's side. The blood ebbed from his body onto his shirt.
Singe fell down, his sword clattering to the ground beside him. He didnt even cover his wound with his hands in pain. He had always said he would accept death, but no one ever thought he was serious. His eyes closed as more blood pushed out of his body.
No Why Rosa sobbed quietly as Silvanus looked over him solemnly. He closed his eyes and put his head in his hand. His eyes wouldnt cry, but his eyes reflected pain. Laine hugged Rosa and whimpered quietly.
Singe made no noise as his pulse slowed He never expected anyone to ever mourn him
