A
Atonement - We are only saved by Christ's sacrifice.
B
Baptism - All Christians need to be baptized not only as an outward sign of an inward reality but also because through baptism God grants special Grace to help us in our walk.
C
Clergy - Clergy must hold to the doctrines of Scripture and the Church Universal. They are called to serve, not to be served and must have an attitude of humility.
D
Devil - A fallen spirit who works on our flesh to try to lead us into sin. He is a real entity and not just a figment of our collective imagination or some sort of myth.
E
Eucharist - Also known as the Lord's Supper or Holy Communion. Communion is a Sacrament of the Church and commanded by Jesus. Therefore we should follow his teaching and have frequent Communion. It may be accompanied by a foot washing as Jesus instructed his disciples but need not always be. In general Communion should be partaken as frequently as possible and foot washings should accompany it on special holidays such as Easter and Christmas.
F
Faith - We are to live day by day trusting God for his provision and not relying on the arm of flesh for without Faith it is impossible to please Him.
G
Grace - All we can do is receive the gift God has given. Even the Faith to believe comes from Him.
H
Holiness - If we are truly saved our heart no longer wants to sin. When we do fall into sin we are grieved and repent.
I
Imputed righteousness - When we confess our sins they are blotted out of God's recollection; he imparts the righteousness of Christ to us. At that point we are as holy in His sight as Jesus because we have His righteousness.
J
Jesus - One of three Persons of the Godhead not merely a righteous prophet or incarnated angel.
K
Kingdom of God - We do not know the exact day the Lord shall return to earth to set up his physical kingdom but he promised he would. In the interim we should be living out the principles of the Kingdom of God on a day to day basis and fight evil wherever we find it.
L
Love - Everything we do needs to be motivated by Love for God and our fellow man.
M
Marriage - The Bible is clear that marriage is a union between only one woman and one man. No other combinations are allowed and intercourse is limited to the marriage union.
N
New/Old Testament "conflicts" - The New and Old testaments do not disagree with each other. Where they appear to an understanding of the prevailing cultures at the times the passages were written usually clarifies matters.
O
Outreach - Christ sent his church into all the world not only to preach the gospel of redemption but also to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, house the homeless etc. as an outward witness of the Grace of God.
P
Personal submission - No man is an island. The devil loves to attack those who are not under submission to another believer who can pray with them when they are attacked and help keep them from going into doctrinal error.
Q
Question of Suffering - There are several reasons for suffering in the world but they boil down to the fact that God wanted man to serve Him out of Love so he gave man a free will. Man chose to revolt against God and turned creation (which had been placed under Adam's authority) over to the devil. God through his people keeps Satan’s plans at bay but since the devil has some control he brings suffering and will do day until the day of his final defeat as foretold in the book of Revelation.
R
Regular assembling of the saints - The Bible commands the regular gathering together with other believers for study of the Word, Communion, foot washing services, prayer, praise and mutual support.
S
Sacred Ground - throughout the Bible men were instructed to remove their shoes on Holy ground in the presence of God. The Bible teaches that where two or more are gathered in Christ's name He is present and the place is made Holy. Therefore, we should remove our shoes when we gather in His name in recognition of this fact.
T
Trinity - The Heavenly Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit make up the three members of the Godhead (also known as the Trinity). All three are separate and each is fully God yet in a way we cannot comprehend They are collectively one God not three Gods.
U
Universal equality - All mankind has a fallen sinful nature. But we are all welcome regardless of ethnic origin, gender, disability or other differences to receive the gift of Christ's atonement for our sins. If we do, we become part of his bride and all are equal in the bride/body of Christ.
V
Veracity of Scripture - All scripture comes from God, has been preserved by him to this day and is still true and binding unless Scripture says otherwise.
W
Worldwide Church - The church consists of all those who have accepted Christ's sacrifice and given their lives to him regardless of what their "denominational title". We recognize the doctrines held by the majority of the churches throughout the history of the church to be based on the inspiration God gave His Church from His Word. If a doctrine arises which cannot be either proven or refuted from the Bible we look to the Universal understanding of the Church to help determine if the belief is from God or not.
X
Xenophobia - Xenophobia is an aversion to strangers. This is a trait Christians should not have. Instead we should be warm-hearted to all friend and stranger alike.
Y
Youth - They hold a special place in the heart of God and the devil especially hates them and tries to destroy the live of the younger generation en masse. For this reason we must be especially diligent to reach unchurched youth for Christ and to properly instruct our own youth in the Word of God.
Z
Zeal - A consuming desire. This may be good, especially when for Godly things but it must be backed with a knowledge of the Word.
