There isn't much to say about me, as I wish to remain anonymous. I don't want my family or friends to know I've lost my sanity. Anybody in love with a fictional character is though to be a little crazy, especially when that character would be over a hundred years old and dead by now anyway. I'm far to young for men in white coats to come haul me away to the loony bin. For some reason, people not affected with the "Darcy-mania" disease, simply don't understand.
All I will say is: I also love Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, Bridget Jones' Diary, and the Bronte Sisters, Jane Eyre especially. My favorite hobby is a hot cup of tea and plenty of Pride and Prejudice!
First and foremost, I'd like to give a huge round of applause to Jane Austen. She sure out did herself, the day she created Mr. Darcy. Never has a writer created such a hero. He shall be remembered forever. Without Miss Austen this site wouldn't be here.
My deepest thanks and gratitude goes out to Shannon (aka: cordelliablythe) of Pink Simplicity .com. She made and coded our beautiful Darcy layout. It's always nice to met fellow Pride and Prejudice fans. Your help was wonderful. Thanks again, girl!
To make the lovely header, Shannon used photos of Darcy from www.erasofelegance.com and Google. The layout was made using Paint Shop Pro and the brushes were from celestial-star.net and beautiful-sins.net. The font used in our header is called "Jheri Curls" and it's from www.thefontgarden.com.
