About Ron: Ron was born in Renton, Washington, USA. He grew up in Renton and has lived in the Greater Seattle area his whole life. Ron has worked in many fields, from Ski Lift Attendant to Morgage Broker. Ron likes all things Aviation, hiking and camping, mountainbike riding, playing guitar and tropical aquariums. |

About Cyn: Born and grew up in the tiny town of Leeton in New South Wales, Australia. Never liked small town living so at 21 moved to Albury, NSW. Cyn has worked mainly as an Account Administrator which is the job she 'fell into' after High School. Cyn enjoys camping, hiking, reading, listening to music, painting and photography. |

About Us: Ron and Cyn met online in December 2001. They hit it off immediately and enjoyed chatting many hours each day and became good friends in a short time. After several months Ron sent Cyn a gift and on receiving the gift Cyn called to thank him. From that time on Ron and Cyn spoke on the phone daily.
In May 2002 Ron proposed to Cyn and she accepted. Cyn travelled to Seattle in August 2002 to spend time with Ron and see what her new home would be like. On her return to Albury they began the Visa process which took an agonising 10 months. (For more information on the visa process click here).During this time Cyn visited Ron again in February 2003.
Cyn was finally approved for her Visa in June 2003 and she and Ron married just over a week later. Ron and Cyn currently live in Kent, Washington, USA and are enjoying their life together at last. |
