"Then she" Spike had to stop laughing to get the words out "threatened me with a stake and took off running...." Willow laughed as she finished making the popcorn. "I can't believe they bought it. Some friends." "They bought it luv. Hook, line, and sinker. That boy almost puked in the floor, he did." Spike wiped away a bloody tear. Graham shook his head, "I can't believe it. Well, guess that shows how well they knew us doesn't it?" "Buffy would believe anything I told her. Never had any reason to doubt me before" Willow said, almost defending her friend. "She's a daft twit that has more air in her head than the Goodyear blimp" Spike added. "I've noticed that" Graham said, sharing a smile with the vampire. Hard to believe he'd spent the last week at the vampire's new apartment. "Glad you got rid of the crypt." "Me too" Willow said, deciding it was pointless to try to defend Buffy against the two guys. "Hated those cobwebs. This is much nicer. Besides, it has electricity." "I see. Using me for my microwave" Spike wailed, a look of mischief in his eyes. He'd never admit it, but those two humans had begun to grow on him. He'd always had a soft spot for the redhead, but her boy wasn't that bad either. "Of course" Willow said, sitting beside him. She kissed his cheek as she began to munch on the buttery treat. "Why else would I be here?" Spike winked at her then looked at Graham, whose eyes were watching the kernals as they disappeared into her mouth, "I think I could up with some reasons." Willow felt a rush of heat spread over her face, "Oh you...vampire." "Ouch. That one hurt" Spike laughed. Graham shook his head, not wanting to think about Willow licking the butter from her fingers. "So, what movie did you get this time?" Spike smiled evilly, "Night of the Living Dead, the original. Now, that was a scary flick, I can tell you." They groaned as they settled in for another night of watching some old black and white horror movie. The next part of Operation: Payback would be starting the next morning.
