Bride's Dream

Hybrid Tea 5-6'

'Royal Highness' x seedling

Light pink petals 25-30, 5" blooms. Slight fragrance. Tall upright growth.

KOROYNESS : Kordes, 1985

Large, exhibition quality blooms on a rose worthy of any bride's bouquet (just watch out for the thorns because they are rather large). The soft pastel pink blooms and light sweet fragrance just beg to be admired. A winner on the show table or in your vase, the plant is very cold hardy and will sprout back with vigor even after a harsh winter.

Some maintenance is required to keep "Bride's Dream" looking its best. Blackspot and japanese beetles will attack if a spray program is not maintained. Blooms can "burn" in hot sun if the rose is not kept well-watered. I do consider this a minimal effort rose and recommend it to new rosarians because it is so very hardy and lovely.

ARS rating: 8.0
