Located at the Courtenay Exhibition Grounds on Headquarters Road, Courtenay, BC.
Contestant Entrance off Dove Creek Road. 

Performance times:  1:00 PM both days
Slack Time: Sunday, July  27^th   10AM

For Contestants:

Camping is available at the Rodeo site during, before and after the Rodeo at no charge.   The Tsolum River runs behind the Exhibition grounds for swimming, and there are horse trails through the trees along the river.  The  amenities of Courtenay are readily available as the Exhibition grounds are 5 minutes from town.  Porta potties will be available and water for horses.  There are  showers until early evening on site but no electricity. Showers are also available at the Swimming and Wave Pool a few minutes away on Lerwick Road.

For contestant access going through town to the Courtenay Fairgrounds:

1. Follow the  Inland Island Hwy #19 to Exit # 117   turning right towards Courtenay.

2. Stay on this road until you reach the T   and turn left (Cliffe Avenue) .

3. Follow Cliff to the lights at 17^th Street and turn Right to go over the 17^th Street Bridge. 

4. At the next T intersection turn Left .  Follow the road around past Superstore and Canadian Tire.  At the next set of lights, go straight ahead instead of following Hwy #19A to the right.  You will now be on Headquarters Road.

5.  Follow HQ Road  past Vanier High school on your right .  The main entrance to the Exhibition  Grounds will be on your left, but all contestants are asked to continue to the next intersection at Dove Creek Road .

6.  Turn Left onto Dove Creek Road, and left again into Contestant Parking and Camping area.

To avoid town completely:

1.      Stay on the  Inland Hwy # 19 until Exit 127 (Piercy Road) exiting right.

2.      Go thru the flashing light at Piercy and Condensory until you reach the Y intersection of Piercy and Dove Creek Road.  Turn right.

3.      Over the one way wooden bridge.  Turn right at the first entrance off Dove Creek into a field which is the camping grounds.

The Saturday night Rodeo Dance, featuring Ken McKoy  will also be at the Curling Club .   ($20.00)

This is our second  year  at the Exhibition Grounds.  We had a great rodeo last year and look forward to seeing you this year!
