OWLS Scholarship
At its inception, the graduate chapter felt the need to give back to the community by establishing the Outstanding Woman in Leadership and Service Scholarship. The scholarships are awarded to a graduating high school senior as well as an undergraduate member of Chi Upsilon Sigma. The OWLS Scholarship Fund was created in order to recognize women who are committed to their academic performance and the development and education of their communities. Candidates for the scholarship show leadership, commitment and dedication. The recipient of the scholarship is honored with a cash reward toward their college expenses.
Congratulations to the 2007 Winners: Lonny Casado (Passaic High School) Besi Henriquez (Elizabeth H.S.)
