Where's His Talent?
April 30, 2002 is a date that may go down in history, but most likely not because of the debut album release of Hip Hop artist Ja Skillz. Where's My Forty Acres and a Mule? displays the unique talents of this new player in the game of rap. His amateur "skillz" leave the listener in need of some real rap to remind themselves of what it sounds like. The only good news is that there is no place to go on, dare we say, the next album, but up.

"I can honestly say it's the best underground rap I've ever heard." -Neil Herrmann, Crimson Crier
The album may be worthwhile listening, though. It's unintentional humor is off the charts. As far as rap goes, it is better than plain-talking P.Diddy. The lyrics are actually decent as well. Ja Skillz does a pretty good job, considering the studio was a dorm room, not being able to utilize the tools that other artists, such as rap whore Ja Rule, can regularly use.
