Cuse.tv returns after a summer layoff We're back and better than ever. A new layout for a new year, but CUSE.tv wants to take a look back at an interesting summer and review all the news and actions that transpired the past few months.
SUMMERTIME
In sad news, Mighty Taco stopped making homemade cookies. Instead, they sell storemade cookies in plastic packages, which are still good, but are smaller and not even close to as good as the original, large, soft, delicious cookies.
There were many break ups in the world of famous couples. Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise divorced, Julia Roberts and Benjamin Bratt split ways, Carson Daly broke it off with Tara Reid, and Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan ended their relationship. Also, I had to end it with long-time flame Kirsten Dunst (left, looking depressed as always). Get Over It was just too awful to ignore. Something had to be done.
In movie news, it was basically a mediocre summer, with a few decent movies such as American Pie II and Moulin Rouge, but standing far and above the rest was Memento, starring Guy Pearce and directed by Christopher Nolan. It is about a man who has an accident trying to save his wife from being murdered and it leaves him unable to make new memories. This interesting story is told backwards in this well-acted and well-directed movie. It will be available to rent on September 4th and CUSE.tv definitely suggests you pick this one up. Director and writer Christopher Nolan's next movie is called Insomnia, which stars Al Pacino, Robin Williams, and Hilary Swank. It's a thriller about a cop that accidentally kills his partner in the line of duty and is then blackmailed by a criminal who finds out.
In the world of television, CUSE.tv has discovered that a channel that is filled with children's shows is actually one of the best channels on TV. That's right, the Disney channel led the best shows of the summer with ones like Bug Juice and Even Stevens, but nothing comparing to their number one show Lizzie McGuire. This show about the doings of a 13 year-old girl hits on all levels. Check your local listings for the times it airs.
New Roommates, New Dorm- No more steps!(Unless you have a girlfriend on the mount) The new roommates in the new dorm, Sadler Hall, left, are Neil Herrmann, Juan Reyes, and Sean Fitzsimmons. You may remember them from previous versions of CUSE.tv as El Guapo and Bert and Ernie.
In related news, my roommate from last year, Steven Lomangino, has switched to 50/50 with boxers and underwear. CUSE.tv will keep eager viewers updated as that story unfolds. All in all, it should be an interesting year and CUSE.tv will be there for all the actions and events that interest the people of the school, the country, and even the world.
