To whom it may concern,

During a short stay at the shelter I incurred several difficulties with one of your staff. His abusive and out of control behavior occurred several times without justification or provocation. This behavior includes yelling, abusive accusations, unlawful orders due to conduct and in method, and the denial of actions or the precise way in which these events occurred. When queried for the cause of my slightly distracted behavior, improperly and after being mistreated abusively, I truthfully answered that abuse and most recently his abuse of myself had caused the incident. Mistreatment of personal matters coupled with uninformed, improper and rash action led to an unwarranted discharge, which caused undue suffering.

I am requesting immediate and full suspension of duty from any position within your control where they abuse power in this way. I require a reference number as identify for this individual so that I can inform the proper authorities. There are witnesses who were also disturbed and mistreated who can testify to these criminal actions. Please assure me of this suspension, so that I know this person is no longer negatively affecting the lives of people who are in need and may be vulnerable.

The intrusive and abusive behavior of the staff and the unsanitary conditions that have been brought to the attention of employees and management, and left unchanged, are not isolated problems or incidents. Parasites spread throughout the shared and common space frequently along with other dangerous infections.

Refugees and victims of horrible crimes are mistreated repeatedly and victimized by the staff who punished residents corresponding with attempts to report incidents, or refusal to forget, lie, or remain silent about them. For attempting to show the truth of the matter and where the problem originated, people are punished openly while incomplete and false paperwork and witness disrupt their lives. Conversations that took place are ignored and the truth stepped over openly while the staff lies attempting to cover what they had done.

The staff attempt to hold illegal authority through threat, displaying power no one has a right to while showing how they get away with crimes and make peoples lives very difficult if they attempt to have anything done about it. This is a crime effecting innocent people=s lives, who have only tried to stand up for their rights and to be honest. After catching them in the act of abusing and mistreating they act as if a victory has been won when able to abusively punish further, causing more suffering the staff had acted appropriately. This shows gross mismanagement and improper staffing. This is an awful disruption to the resident=s lives and I'm sure many have suffered even more being forced into the street in the dark cold of winter, unjustly, with no recognition of the crimes against them, whilst being stared in the face by those who had commit them.

I can see no reason that some staff is permitted to work there. I don't think they should even be in the neighborhood in some cases and I am seeking restraining orders to see to my health, privacy, and safety while I try to have no further contact with those individuals. Especially forced contact, which during being threatened without reason or just cause you are forced to give details of your private life and traumatic experience. This at the hands of those who treat people no better than those who commit the crimes that put you there.

Employers and landlords have complained of attitudes and other occurrences, and there are professional witnesses to improper and illegal policy such as breach of confidence and other crimes. Policy is not adhered to in the most important areas causing damage. Then the resident is subjected to further improper consequence and in these instances residents are sometimes yelled at as if they were the problem.

Communications are reportedly sent carrying private and important information about people other than the residents, without their permission or the other parties, in a pressure situation with matters of great importance being negatively affected by illegal policy. Staff employees connect with others spreading or using false information throughout the shelter system which is illegal and a very serious crime. There is, or can be, more improper treatment at the hands of others where the resident is sent, much due to the falsities, spread or received by staff which interfere with those who are trying to do their work properly.

Years and lives destroyed or lost. Victims are harmed, abused, and pushed further so they have even less strength, if any, left to stop those that have hurt them or worse, having been so further scarred and crippled by those who are supposed to help. The vicious cycle of abuse repeating again and again where those who escape the crime and violence find themselves surrounded by it once more where they are supposed to receive shelter.

There are charges being filed, solid records exist of these crimes that show context, the origination and further, witnesses exist in professional fields to testify to these and other incidents. In light of these awful acts against those in disadvantaged situations, by people who repeatedly abuse positions of power after repeated warnings and notification of the law, and who refuse to apologize and accept responsibility for, or stop the criminal and obviously improper behavior, I demand the emendate full suspension of the staff member and an inquiry into staff procedure pending the outcome of criminal proceedings where I suspect they will be frozen indefinitely from any work that may place them in a position to have power or authority over another. It is to common an occurrence for any actions under the blanket of no physical scarring caused are spoken of as proper an talked around.

Again, there are solid and admissible records of these crimes and there is no use in denying their occurrence. For the safety and proper care of anyone who has been disadvantaged or who needs a safe, normal, stable and legal environment it is not ethical and would be without conscience to leave the staff in those positions. There is a great amount of activity I have witnessed that is illegal that I am not detailing in this letter, so I request that all activities at the shelter be looked at with great scrutiny and that legal policy with regards to all matters is followed. I will also mention at this time that the police and other authorities have demonstrated examples of activity that is illegal and I have witnessed these criminal acts be committed the Ashelter@. Also, there are multiple complainants and multiple complaints being filed and this activity as well as others should not continue and certainly will not, when it comes before the open eyes of the law.
