| Almost one month to the day of being diagnosed with Hodgkin�s for the third time, Kim sat among her friends and loved ones at Children�s Hospital and celebrated her seventeenth birthday...smiling �sitting at the table�breathing on her own�a CHAMPION! | Kim�s story has taken her by way of traditional medicine including chemotherapy, radiation, and stem cell replacement, and on into the realm of alternative medicine. Along the way, she discovered music. She also found the love of God and friends she never knew she had. Now, at the age of seventeen, she bravely continues her battle, equipped with the gifts of song, lifted up by the prayers of many, and empowered with a determination in her soul to celebrate life. Surrounded and supported by her loving family and friends, Kim moves forward everyday through each difficulty, every challenge, often times in the face of disappointment and setback.
