OBJECTIVES:

• * To provide a social environment that relate to activities which promote the culture and unity of Filipino students at   Carleton University, University of Ottawa, Algonquin College, the Filipino Community in Canada in general and those from other cultures and ethnicity who wish to establish unity within the organization.
• * To contribute in increasing Filipino youth's ability to recognize, understand and take action on issues that are relevant to their reality.
• * To promote knowledge and study of historical, social, political and economic conditions of the Filipino people in and outside the Philippines.
• * To build and link with existing networks of Filipino organizations around the world which actively promote Filipino's rights and welfare.
• * To be a resource or information centre for issues that affect Filipino youth and the Community.

@ CUFSA	On-Going Campaign...... Essay: Growing Pains in Canada ***Tune in to our radio show “Talakayang Bayan” on CKCU 93.1fm. It is aired every other Monday from 6:30 – 7:00 pm. Those who are outside of the Ottawa Valley region can still tune it to our show via the internet at www.ckcufm.com and click on Listen Live! We welcome all Filipino youth in the Ottawa-Gatineau and surrounding community. All you need is the passion to get involved in the community and the drive to make our community and the world a better place to live in. Al  C
Blast From CUFSA Past	Blast from CUFSA past, pertains to the various photos and events that have taken place over the years. They include former members and also inform you on the history of our group.
Articles	One of the most important aspects of our group deals with various issues regarding the Philippines. The articles section allows you full access to information and documents regarding important issues that CUFSA has responded to. New articles are uploaded whenever we get them. So keep on checking the section for new info. This section will also be where you can download our newsletter "Pananaw." Also of note is the addition of the CUFSA response to the URGENT ACTION Petitions.
Links	The links section will guide you to many web sites which the CUFSA group has used as as an information resource pertaining to the Philippines. It also links other organizations and groups that are in association with CUFSA. So if you're an organization or students association send us your URL and we'll put it up.
