| "Yeah, but we gotta tell our parents" said Ben. "Ok then, we'll ring them, maybe we should go round though" suggested Emma. "Yeah, we could go round in the car tomorrow morning before the flight?" asked Ben. "Ok, thats all set then" said Emma. "Come on then, ring off till we've officially announced this!" Ben said. "Ring off...there you go, keep it safe" said Emma. PART 5 "Hey Toby!" Emma said as she and Ben walked into the room. "Hey ya Emma! Long time no see!" said Toby. "So how are you getting on with the music?" "Err, well I still think I should change managers, Chris Herbert is really good and the record company are being brilliant too. Just been laying down some new tracks and stuff I might use on the album!" said Emma. "Oh that's cool. You have any other managers in mind cos Chris is pretty busy I heard with Hear'say!" said Toby. "Well I'd love Tim and Vicky but they said they wouldn't have the time. Then there's Louis Walsh but he says he's too busy too. But I'm definately phoning Chris when I get back." Emma said. "Emma don't you have something to do?" asked Ben. "Err, yeah, Ben you better come with me!" Emma said, starting to cry again. Ben got up and took her out of the room, turning behind him he said "Sorry Tob, it's kinda important this, I'll catch up with ya when we get back!" "Ok, I hope everythings ok with you two!" said Toby. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "You done it yet Em?" asked Ben. "Yeah, hold on...there we go" said Emma, coming out of the bathroom. "We gotta wait 5 mins now." "Come on into the bedroom!" said Ben. Mark then came out of the living room. "Everything ok you two?" said Mark. "Err yeah Mark, all fine and Dandy!" said Emma, quickly putting the tester behind her back and walking into the bedroom. Ben and Emma sat down on the bed. "Emma, whatever happens I just want you to remember I love you and if you are pregnant it's gonna be your choice what you do with the baby." said Ben. "Ben, I love you too, I'm not scared, just worried, but if I am pregnant I'll have to keep the baby cos my parents wouldn't want me to have it adopted or aborted!" "Hun, they wouldn't have to know you were pregnant would they!" said Ben "True!" said Emma. "Well Emma, go ahead look, the 5 mins are up hun, I love you!!" said Ben. Emma looked at Ben and cried, "Ben, I can't, you do it!" "K, hun, well...errr...hun..." Ben started, looking at the tester and the instructions, "According to this you are pregnant! Shit Emma, I don't know whether to laugh or cry!" "Oh God, me neither, it's like Oh my God, we're gonna be parents which is scary but fun..." Emma said. "And yet we're so young...so what are we gonna do?" said Ben. "I don't know!" said Emma. "Can we talk about this later? Cos I don't really feel up to it now, just wanna thinl it through in my head first!" "Sure hun! Come here you and gimme a kiss my wee girl!" Emma walked over and fell into Ben's arms crying. "Awh baby, it'll all be ok, I promise you!" Ben and Emma spent a while with each other, in silence, both in their own little world. Ben was thinking it was fantastic that he and Emma were having a kid. Why shouldn't he, he wanted to be a young dad and he felt that he could take on the responsibility. However Emma was very confused. What would she tell her parents? What would happen to her career? But then she thought of Ben and how hapy he seemed to look right now, she had already thought she wanted to keep the baby but she wasn't totally sure. Later that evening Emma went to phone Ben's mum and her own parents. "Hi Lucy is your mum there pet?" she asked. "Yup, is that Emma?" Lucy asked. "Yup it's me!" "When you coming round here again, we miss you?" "Awh, well I'll need to talk to your mum first!" "Ok, I'll get her now. Bye Emma!" "Bye Lucy!" |
