| "Hello Emma" said Ben's mum. "How are you feeling?" "Not too bad thanks" said Emma. "Anyway, is it ok if me and Ben come round tomorrow morning?" "Yes but why?" "We got some news, erm...can my parents come too? It's just we want you to be all together!" "Of course Emma I'll see you then!" "Bye mum!" Emma said Laughing "Bye Emma!" Emma put the phone down and then rang her mum. They weren't home so she left a message on the answer phone telling them to go to Ben's mum's house in the morning. It was 2am by the time Emma crawled into bed beside Ben. She's just finished his suitcase and he's fallen asleep. Typical of Ben she thought to herself. She got into bed and looked at her fiance. She knew she'd done the right thing by accepting the proposal. They got on so well and despite spending a lot of time apart they were always there for each other. She was in love. It wasn't long before she was asleep and it was time to get up. Both Emma ans Ben got dressed quickly and quietly. They were both thinking about what their parents would say. Emma knew her parents could say she was too young to be settling down. PART 6 They said bye to Mark and Lauren, who were arguing over the tv remote. "Those two are more like a brother and sister than girlfriend and boyfriend!" Ben said to Emma. Emma laughed, she was so nervous about telling her parents. Even though they weren't saying that she was pregnant she was still worried. Ben gave her a big hug and told her everything would be ok. "Here Emma, I kept your ring safe for you!" said Ben. "Thank you" said Emma and she gave him a kiss on the cheek. "They climbed into Ben's car, glad to see that there were no fans outside. They drove silently to Ben's mum's house and Emma's parent's car was parked outside. Ben parked the car and they both got out. Ben's mum had already opened the door and called Ben over. "Ben, if you've got that girl pregnant your going to be in serious trouble!" she whispered to him. Ben rolled his eyes and went inside. "Hi all!" he said "Hey Lucy" Ben said as Lucy came running over to Ben and Emma. At this stage Ben had his hand on Emma's stomach and her dad noticed this. Be quickly pulled his hands away and hoped they weren't suspicious of anything. Emma noticed too and she went over to Rupert who was being unusually quiet. "Hey you!" Emma said, walking over to give Rupert a hug. "If you have my 18 year old daughter pregnant, I NEVER, want you to see her again!" Emma's dad shouted at Ben. "Dad, of course he hasn't! But he did do something!" Emma said, giving Rupert and Lucy loads of kisses. Ben looked at her and smiled, thinking that she would make a great mum. "WHAT?" shouted Ben's mum and stepdad. "Well let's just say, I'm gonna have Rupert and Lucy as my new brother and sister!" Emma said giving them more hugs and kisses. "Well" said Ben. "We're getting married!" "Yeah, look!" Emma said, proudly showing off her engagement ring. "Oh goodness, congratulations you two!" said Ben's mum. There were tears all around and Ben said "we were so worried you'd think we were too young!" "Well" said Emma's mum, "You are too young, but I don't think any of us have seen the love you two have for each other before, so we do think it's the right thing!" "But that doesn't mean you have to rush into getting married!" said Ben's dad. "Emma, we're gonna miss the flight! We really should go!" said Ben. "Emma, can I be your flowergirl?" asked Lucy. "LUCY! You can't ask Emma that!" said Ben's mum. "Course you can Lucy! I'd love you to!" said Emma. "And Rub" Ben said, "I want you to be my little page boy. You wanna do that?" "YEAH!" Rupert shouted. At that everyone was running around with hugs and kisses then they were gone. |
