| "Are you sure you mean THAT Rupert and Lucy!?!?" Ben's mum said laughing. "Come on hun, we gotta get going now! Tell Ru and Luc I love them too!" "Bye" said Ben and Emma. "Be good you two" said Ben's mum. PART 4 Emma and Ben sneaked out of the aftershow party under the protection of a bodyguard as there was still fans outside. Even though Emma hadn't been in the music business long she still had gathered fans very quichly. Her song was also constantly being played on Longwave radio because she was a good friend of one of the DJ's. They both climbed into Ben's car and he drove back to his flat, which was also becoming Emma's home too as it was easier for her to have a permanent base in London because of work. "Hun, you have the pregnancy test with you don't you?" asked Ben. "Yep" said Emma, as she again began to cry. "Awe babe" said Ben, stopping the car outside the flat. He leaned over the seat and hugged her. "Look the hall door is open!" said Emma. "Mark and Lauren must be back" said Ben. "Come on Missy, I got a suprise for you" Ben kept looking at Emma, winking at her. "A suprise? What kind of suprise?" asked Emma. "Ah, just you wait and see gorgeous" said Ben, as he grabbed Emmas hand and went up the steps to the flat. Ben closed the door behind him and looked around the rooms. "Mark and Lauren must be...well you know...in bed!" Ben said Laughing, pulling Emma into his bedroom. Emma laughed, "Ben, I gotta do the test". "It can wait" said Ben. "It's such a pity that dress looks so good on you, cos I'm afraid it's gonna have to come off!" Ben said, reaching for the straps ans slowly sliding them down Emma's arms. He began kissing her neck and pulled her down onto the soft, white bed, where they kissed. Emma was just reaching for Ben's trousers and undoing the zip when there was a massive clatter that came from the studio. "WHAT THE HECK?!?!" said Ben, doing his trousers up again. "Ben forget it! Come back here Mr and lets get back to where we were" said Emma. "Two secs hun, I promise" said Ben. He got off the bed and went into the hall. "MARK?" Ben shouted. "ARE YOU HERE?" Maybe I'll go look around the flat to see if I can see him" said Emma, coming out of the bedroom. "Emma!! You put your dress back on!!" laughed Ben. There was another crash from the studio. "Honey, don't move, I think the flats been broken into, I don't think Marks here. Come on, go into the bedroom and I'll go ring Mark" said Ben. "Ben, I'm scared! What if whoever broke into the house is still here? Ben just use your mobile to ring Mark, Don't go back into the hall" said Emma, who was now as white as a ghost. "Ok, come here and sit on the bed" said Ben. Ben nervously dialled marks number. "Hello Mark" said Ben. "Where are you?" "I'm still at the party. Why?" replyed mark. "Just ring the police and tell them to come to the flat NOW!" Ben sounded worried so Mark didn't ask anymore and rang the police. "You think they've taken much?" asked Emma. "Probably, look my DVDs have gone" said Ben. "Awh Ben, this is awful" said Emma. "I can't believe someone could do this!" "I need a hug" said Ben. "Well thats what I'm here for" said Emma and the hugged. They sat there with their arms wrapped around each other until they heard the police car. They both ran to the front door and opened it. Standing on the door step was Mark, Lauren and two policemen. "Ben, what's happened?" asked Mark. "Awh Emme, don't cry pet" said Lauren. Ben put his arm round Emma and smiled at her and told her not to worry. "Right, can we come into the flat please and perhaps you can tell us what happened" said one of the policemen. "Yeah, sure come into the living room. We haven't been round the house fully yet but we think the person is still here cos we heard noises in the studio" said Ben leading everyone into the living room. |
