| PART 3 Back inside at the party, Paul and Nat were dancing together looking very much in love, Emma and Ben had wandered in and were talking to Ben's mum about something. Chris and Tess were getting on really well kissing, chatting and hugging, even MArck and Lauren seemed to be enjoying each other's company. Obviously all was well in the a1 love camp. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A while later Paul had gone over to Mark and Lauren to help him gather everyone up because Tim and Vicky wanted to see them in the other room. Once everyone had gathered together, Tim stood up. "Listen, I don't know what is going on here but I've been hearing people say that Chris you are now dating Tess, I have also heard two of you are pregnant!" said Tim. Everyone looked around the room and all eyes landed upon Emma. She burst into tears. "Oh come on you guys, she's not pregnant, we have more sense than that so just leave her alone!" Ben said. "Right" said Vicky. "We know Nat's pregnant and I really don't know how we're gonna tell the fans this. But I think for the time being we shouldn't tell them." "I think personally, we should wait until you come back from holiday and then hold a press conference so we can clear up any rumours and announce the news of the pregnancies or whatever. And I hope for the band's sake that we only have to announce one!" Said Tim. "And Chris, I know you want to take Tess with you to the Maldives but I don't think that's going to be a good idea because once the fans find out they might take it bad. We knew it had to happen someday that you'd all have girlfriends, but the fans will not like it so just be prepared for some hassle. It may be a good thing that you've got this holiday!" "Yeah, whatever!" Said Chris "I think it's stupid that I won't be able to say. I mean they all know Ben, Mark and Paul have girlfriends!" "Yes Chris, but you have to remember that Ben and Emma were dating long before the band and so were Paul and Nat!" said Vicky. "And Mark?" asked Chris. "Well Mark didn't tell the fans till he knew that him and Lauren were in a long term relationship" said Vicky. "Yeah, I guess that's fair enough then" said Chris. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mark and Lauren were staying at Ben's flat that night so that it would leave things easier in the morning when they all went to the airport. As they had decided earlier, Ben and Emma went home early so that Ben could pack. They said goodnight to everyone. "Bye mum" said Ben to his mum. "Bye Ben, have fun will you on holiday, and take care of Emma, she's looking a bit fragile right now. Is anything annoying her?" Ben's mum said. She loved Emma a lot and cared for her like her own daughter. She hoped that her and Ben would stay together for life because she knew that they needed each other. "Well she thinks she might be pregnant" replied Ben. "Oh Ben! What have you done?!" How could you do that to the poor girl?!" shouted Ben's mum. "Mum, you know I love Emma and we're gonna spend the rest of our lives together and if she is pregnant you know I'll stick with her" said Ben. "Well Ben, it won't be easy bringing up a child in both your situations." "Yeah mum I know, but she's not pregnant." "Good, well have a good holiday" Ben gave his mum a kiss on the cheek, when Emma came over. "Hey mum!" said Emma. She always called Ben's mum, mum, because everyone knew she would eventually become her mother in law and she was already very much like a mum to her. "Hey petal, having a good night are you?" "Yeah" said Emma. "It's been nice to be with your lovely son after 3 months." "I'm sure it is pet, just look after him while your away!" Ben's mum said laughing. "Don't worry I will" said Emma. "Oh and I've got something for Rupert and Lucy" she said handing over two Winnie the Pooh teddies with their names on them. "Oh Emma, there was no need for that!" said Ben's mum. "Yeah there was, just to say thank you to them for being great kids. Tell them I love then too and I'm missing them loads" said Emma. |
