All boys in the second through fifth grade earn the Bobcat badge first.  To learn this badge, the scout must learn the Cub Scout Promise, Law of the Pack, handshake, salute, sign, motto, and meaning of "Webelos."   To view the complete requirements, please click on the Bobcat badge to the left.  After receiving the Bobcat badge, each boy works on requirements based upon his grade level.

A Cub Scout who has complete second grade (or is age 9) works on 12 of 24 achievements to earn the Bear Badge.
After he earns his Bear badge, a boy may work on electives in different areas of interest until he is old enough to begin work on the next rank.  For every 10 electives a Wolf scout completes, he earns an Arrow Point.  A gold Arrow Point for his first 10 electives, and silver Arrow Points for each 10 thereafter.
