| There are three cities in the Kathmandu Area--Kathmandu, Patan, and Bhaktapur. Each has a central square where the old place and temples were built... On day 2, Joe and I toured Kathmandu and Patan's Durbar square... amazing architecture, but also major tourist trap with the locals pestering you as soon as you pull out your guide book.... "need guide sir?"... finally, we gave in, and it was actually informative.... certainly worth the buck.... | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
