Losing Biodiversity in the hills by indiscriminate removal of vegetation cover and over grazing. 3. Small land holding and rain fed agriculture due to non availability of irrigation sources; Income from farmland is meager and overall economy is poor. 4. Existence of large number of unproductive animals exert heavy pressure on the vegetation in hills for fodder |
