This
page is dedicated to my late daughter-in-law, Susan Ruth Joiner Stukes. Susan
was married to my youngest son, John, for two and a half years. She loved John,
cats and the Lord. Before her illness, Susan served on the building committee
and was the drama director for their church, Hope Fellowship, in Lake Jackson,
Texas. She died after a long illness and much suffering. We are sorry the Lord
chose to carry her home so soon but we are glad she isn't suffering anymore.
We can be comforted by the fact that she is in heaven, rejoicing to be with her
Lord and Savior because Susan loved the Lord very much. Like her brother, Dick
said, on the day of her death....'I bet she is up there right now, talking the Lord's
ears off!' We miss you Susan....
